If you use a light golden eyeshadow instead of white during the summer it brings out your tan more.

The Art Institute of New York City Senior Collections Fashion Show

Hey again everyone! On June 10th I went to The Art Institute of New York City Senior Collections Fashion Show to do makeup on the models. This was my first time doing makeup in a fashion show, and I must say it was absolutely amazing. Here are a few pictures from that day. Sorry for the blurriness/bad lighting, I really do need to invest in a good camera.

First Model

Blue, Green, and Black Look
(Again, sorry for the bad lighting you can hardly see the colors)

Paul Mitchell School was also with us helping with the show. They did a great job, and were all so sweet!

Update

Hey everyone! I'm sorry I haven't posting lately I've been so busy. Now that my schedule is winding down, I want to update this blog a lot more. I'm starting to big up my portfolio now. Today I did my cousins makeup for her dance recital. She looked gorgeous, and will definitely be an addition to my portfolio. My aunt, and uncle both have professional cameras, so I will be taking a lot more pictures of my clients, and hopefully will have my very own photo shoot.

Now I'm trying to build my collection up even more. Yesterday I got three eye shadows by MAC's new To The Beach Collection. The colors are amazing, and very pigmented. If you love shimmer these will be a great buy. Also the packaging is adorable! I will be posting pictures up as soon.

Mermaid Eyes

Mermaid look; using blues, purples, and pinks

Ever since I was a little girl, I always thought mermaids were beautiful, and magical. The colors of their fins, and hair always drew me into the whole legend. And of course you can't forget about Ariel.

This was my view on a mermaid eye; shimmery, with a blend of light colors.
