DIY: Body Scrub

Since Spring is coming to an end the tank tops, and shorts are coming out of the bins, and you're showing off a little more skin. Yet, some of us still have our pale, ashy skin from the wintertime, and want something quick and easy to resolve it. This scrub is the solution to get rid of that dull looking skin, and exfoliate away those dead skin cells. It will leave you having

beautiful healthy smooth skin

Here's a list on items that you will need.

  1. a bowl, or plate

  2. a spoon

  3. sugar

  4. honey

  5. baby oil(optional)

  6. lotion (any kind, but I would recommend using a very moisturizing one)

Once you have all of the items in front of you put one cup of the lotion of your choice.

Then pour in 2 tablespoons of honey, and 3 tablespoons of sugar.

Last, pour in one teaspoon of baby oil

Mix everything together and ready to exfoliate your skin for the summertime. It's that simple! After exfoliating you can take the remaining scrub, and put in the fridge. It should last for a little over a week. Also, if you only want to use the scrub once cut the measurements in half.

Hope you enjoyed!

Gunna Spread My Wings, Sweet Sixteen

Yes, I am finally back, and ready to blog!

I decided to blog in the order of my recent events. My first event was my cousins Sweet Sixteen on April, 2nd 2011. One of my gifts to her was to do her hair, and makeup. I also did my aunts, and grandma's makeup for the party. Since her sweet was a beach theme I went with lose beachy curls. For makeup I went a little more elegant, with a shimmery smokey eye, matching her grey dress.

Here's some pictures from that night.

MIA

I've been MIA on my blog for so long I don't even know where to begin! Between work, school, friends, family, and my boyfriend I hardly have time to keep up with all of my sites. I want to update more, and I will. I want to expand my blog by not doing only makeup, but doing random posts about anything interesting. And thats enough of me rambling on, I'll get back to you with my IMATS haul this week.

Extraordinary

Hey everyone! I hope you all are having a GREAT new year! I can't believe it's 2011 already. Here's my first look of the new year! It's full of color, and excitment!!

The first step too keep your eyes shadows on all night long, starts with a great primer. The primer I used for this look was Eden, by Urban Decay. To bring out the colors used I used NYX's Milk, to give them that pop!The numbered eye shadows are all the colors I used for the look. This palette is the Coastal Scents 36 Smokey Eyes. For the liner I used my favorite eyeliner. Urban Decay's "Zero"& my current favorite mascera, Benefit's "Bad Gal Lash."
Also for the glitter, I used NYX's glitter on the go in "Forest."

Hope you enjoyed my first look of 2011! There will be many more to come within the new year!

Love always,
Brittany

Everyday Look

Woo! I'm finally going to be updating a lot! I'm sooooo happy I got my new camera for Christmas ;D (thanks mommy!)

Here's my new everyday look!

It's extremly simple.
I used all MAC eye shadows for this look.

1. Highlight, and Inner Lid- Rice Paper
2. Out Lid/Crease- Sketch
3. Crease-Carbon(used a tiny bit to give my eyes dimension)

& Thats all for the eye shadows! I told you this look was super easy (:

Mascara MAC's Zoom, and Urban Decay's eyeliner in Zero.

For my cheeks, I used NARS orgasm, which is a shimmery pink. I lined my lips with NYX's baby pink liner, and I topped it off with MAC's Angel lipstick.

Love,

Brittany xoxo
